Gerak Sikh Visits Indian High Commission of Malaysia

GERAK SIKH Central Committee presented a Memorandum to Indian High Commission of Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur to urge Prime Minister of India and Chief Minister of Punjab to take immediate action and steps to apprehend the culprit who desecrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji that took place in Punjab, India.

Five representatives met the High Commission and had a fruitful meeting with Mr Rajiv Ahir, Counsellor at the Embassy. He promised that steps will be taken. GERAK SIKH also urged that police force not to use violence against peaceful protesters in Punjab as its their basic freedom of expression.

GERAK SIKH had thanked the High Commission, the Police and Special Branch for their full cooperation towards this expression.
